re:Taking the message to the Chinese really should start with listening to what the Chinese has to say.

The Chinese people generally dont have a voice nor do they have the freedom to hear the real news other than what the Ccp wants them to know and hear.

Diluted versions right down to out right propoganda and lies. Thats why the Chinese people are showing outrage or indifference at this issue because they dont know what the Ccps involvment has been in Sudan and Darfur.

It would not have mattered what Steven Spielberg had said openly or directly to the Chinese people it would have been modified to suit the Ccps version.

So this line of disussion is unreal and futile.

The Chinese are smart enough to set up the "Great Firewall". In the same token, many of them, intellectuals in particular, have their ways to get hold of voices from outside the firewall. Do you really believe that the Chinese government is running a mute nation? That's your own wild imagination, I'm afraid.-- I AM writing this in a village in China.

If, as you imagined, the Chinese people can't hear any voices from outside, what are you people doing out there? Gossiping with your next door neighbours for fun?

Wake up and learn from Dave, woman! If you really want to get your message across, do it in a right way!

What more can I say ? There is a horrendous persecution happening inside China today and yet the Ccp will deny its existence, they have set up "610 offices" which are beyond and above the laws specfically to deal with the eradication of Falun Gong.

Chinese people who have nothing and no rights are desperate . ie. the latest so called terrorist trying who took hostage 9 Australians recently .

Heres the real story behind his desperate attempt which I bet you and most of the world don’t know. NO official Ccp statement will tell the truth and say he was pushed to the wall desperate to make just living to keep his family fed.. Or if you do know then why do you sit still?

You tell me how to do it right…I am listening How do we get the Ccp to stop persecuting and harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience?

If Dave allows us to shift topics here, I'd like to answer your question as follows:

As early as Descartes' time, people realized that we cannot take anything beyond the mind as true. Later, Hume told us that we get to know about the world through our senses. Through my humble senses, I've learned that people, politicians and the media included, tell lies for certain purposes. When the US launched the gulf war, Bush told American people that they were going to drop bombs into that oil-rich country only in order to install the American style democracy - which they believe is the best in the world and throughout human history - in that non-Christian country. People believed him and sent their children to the slaughterhouse. The tragedy is, chaos, rather than democracy, has been 'installed', and American parents are still losing their children in the oil field. The media said that 911 was terrorists' attack. But a few people believe it's an FBI conspiracy. Who should we believe? For a long time, historical atrocities like those will have to remain mystery, just like the JFK assassination.

I don't really know why so many people outside China take their stand along with FaLunGong. Perhaps those Falungong members they saw are very different from those I saw in China. Again, through my humble senses, I believe they are cults. They took extreme actions even before the so-called persecution. Because of that illiterate, insane DaFaShi's preaching, families had been destroyed, people had died horrendous death. I didn't get this from the media or government - I eye-witnessed tragedies.

I've never seen human organs removed from prisoner's bodies, even though I have relatives working as prison wardens. But let's suppose that happened. Ask those Falungong practitioners you know, how did they get out of China alive? Who has had organs stolen away from his/her body? Many haven't. Suppose there were one or two such inhumane cases. Can we say that the Ccp government has ordered to do this? Perhaps not. When that doctor in the UK killed hundreds of his patients, did you suspect that he did this because the Labour Party told him to do so, or because he was persecuted by the government and became lunatic?

Think twice before you jump from your bench.

All right, you want to know how we can get the Ccp to stop persecuting Falungong. I can tell you this - I won't even try to do so. Any government in the modern world will do their best to eradicate cults that undermine social security. And I support them doing so. Nonetheless, I will take every opportunity to try to get the government to improve its governing, as we are doing in the ongoing Xiamen protesting.

I am more than happy to see people give their hands to those in need. But here is a caveat - do not ever surrender your giving hands to blindness or ignorance.
